Privacy Notice

Your personal data

We keep a record of your name, email address and password.  We use this information:

  • To enable you to sign in
  • To send you reports whenever you request one
  • To send you relevant messages and notifications
  • To send you information about new features and other developments

When you delete your account we will remove your email address and password from our records.

Only your name is added to the list of current members within a parish.  This list can be viewed by the other members of your dashboard, and also by authorised users.  We never share your name with anyone else.

We maintain a permanent log of your interaction with your dashboards, and may share this information with authorised users.  This enables authorised users to see, for example, when a dashboard was last updated, and who updated it.

Dashboards

A dashboard stores and displays only non-personal parish data (see our 'Terms and Conditions' below).

All parish data belongs to Clearly Simpler Limited, and we may share this data with relevant authorised users for the purpose of assisting the Church’s mission, ministry and governance.

We may also share statistical data outside of the Catholic Church, but this will never identify an individual parish.

Cookies

We only use cookies that are essential to the functioning of the system. We do not use cookies for marketing or any other purpose.

Security

We hold your data securely.  We use an encrypted link to your browser to protect your information while it is transit, and we store it in a data centre that conforms to high levels of security accreditation.

Terms and Conditions

Personal data must not be entered into a parish dashboard.  For example:

  • An action note may say, "One PCC member needs to complete their safeguarding training."
  • An action note must not say, "John Smith needs to complete his safeguarding training."
